Today WhatsApp introduced a new red tick in order to indicate that the receiver has seen the two blue ticks of the message. With the new function the receiver will know for sure that the sender knows that the receiver has read the message but hasn’t taken the time to respond.
For users to keep track of their communication, WhatsApp also introduced three pink ticks. The pink ticks indicate that the red tick that shows that the blue ticks have been viewed, has not been seen. In that case both the sender and the receiver will receive a SMS message.
